A soft set for the messiest, sweetest months.
I sew each bib and burp cloth from soft cotton in the Zoo Mustard print, lions and elephants and giraffes scattered over a warm mustard-yellow ground, with white cotton terry on the other side, so it does the job and still looks good doing it. A practical baby gift with a little more color than the usual pastel nursery print, sewn one set at a time here in Mukwonago.

Does the set make a good baby shower gift?

It does. I sew each set one at a time as a practical baby gift that still looks good, with a cheerful print on one side and soft cotton terry on the other.

Does the bib use snaps or velcro?

Snaps. They stay put when a wiggly baby tugs, don't catch little hairs the way velcro can, and hold up wash after wash without wearing out.

Are the bib and burp cloth machine washable?

Yes, both are machine washable. I back each one with absorbent cotton terry, so it does the job and holds up to regular washing.

Will it shrink after washing?

A little settling is normal with cotton, and the flannel pieces are the cozier for it. Wash cold and dry low and you'll keep the size and shape close to what you started with.

Are these items safe for babies and young kids?

I sew every baby and kids item from soft cotton with everyday little hands in mind. Bibs, burp cloths, and teething rings are machine washable so they can keep up with real life.
