Hi, I'm Diane, the maker behind The Cozy Daisy. I sew every bag, pouch, and handmade piece one at a time. I choose the fabrics carefully, and I have loved making things for as long as I can remember.
It started with my Girl Scout leader, who introduced me to every craft imaginable and made making things feel natural. I took sewing all through high school, made my kids' Halloween costumes every year, and eventually stopped thinking of it as a hobby. It's simply part of who I am.
I'm particular about the details: the seams, the fabric, and the way a finished piece feels in your hands. I don't choose fabrics only because I love them. I think about who might carry each piece, what will make them smile, and how it will fit into their day.
I make bags, pouches, and accessories that are pretty but useful. Most are reversible and made to work across seasons and everyday routines. I want the things you carry every day to be beautiful and functional.
The name is personal to me. Cozy is the feeling I have always looked for in fabric: soft, warm, and inviting. The daisy is for my son, who passed away. He loved wildflowers and would bring me whatever he found: dandelions, daisies, anything growing, because he knew it made me happy. The Cozy Daisy is part of how I keep him close and do what I love.
My husband Todd has been part of it all, from every hobby and idea to every craft fair table we have set up together. He helps choose fabrics, does the heavy lifting, and is the first person I bounce ideas off. I couldn't do this without him, even if he doesn't sew or iron.
Thank you for stopping by. Every order means a great deal to us, and I hope you find something that feels just right for you. If you're planning an event, editorial feature, or maker collaboration, we'd love to hear from you.
